Seeking a Dental Assistant
Full-Time Dental Assistant
Synergy Dental is looking for a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team.
This is a permanent position within a supportive, well-established practice that values professionalism, kindness, teamwork, and genuinely good patient care.
We’re looking for someone organised, calm under pressure, and naturally good with people. Dental experience is helpful, but not essential — attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn matter most.
About the Role
As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play an important part in helping the practice run smoothly and ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their visit.
The role includes:
Chairside assistance across a range of treatments
Supporting patients before, during, and after appointments
Coordinating appointments and patient communication
Assisting with sterilisation and clinical organisation
Working closely with clinicians and the wider team
Using EXACT practice management software
This is a fast-paced role with plenty of variety and responsibility.
About You
You’ll likely suit this role if you:
Communicate well and enjoy working with people
Are organised and dependable
Stay calm in busy environments
Learn quickly and take initiative
Enjoy being part of a team
Take pride in doing your job well
Experience in healthcare, hospitality, administration, customer service, childcare, or similar people-focused roles can transfer well into this position.
What We Offer
At Synergy Dental, we’ve worked hard to build a positive team culture with strong support systems and long-term career opportunities.
We provide:
Full on-the-job training
Support from experienced clinicians and senior team members
Opportunities for ongoing development
A stable, long-term position within a respected practice
Support toward a nationally recognised Dental Assistant qualification
Hours
This role guarantees a minimum of 32 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours depending on staffing requirements.

Tuesday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Wednesday: 12:00pm – 8:00pm
Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Friday: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Saturday: Rotating roster approximately once every 8 weeks (8:00am – 5:00pm)
